itterlin Companies, Inc. is a 29-year-old diversified real estate asset management, brokerage and development firm. Founded in 1980 by Mark D. Bitterlin, the firm focused initially on real estate brokerage and management activities. In 1984, Christopher G. Bitterlin joined his brother Mark as a partner in the firm. During the next several years, the business diversified by engaging in real estate investment partnerships and development.
Bitterlin Development Corporation has completed numerous development projects, most notably the 20,000 seat Coors Amphitheatre, the 60-acre Knotts Soak City Water Park and Spotlight on Broadway, a mixed use project comprised of 50 residential and retail condominiums located in Chula Vista, CA.
The real estate management affiliate, San Diego Property Management, operates properties throughout Southern California including office and professional buildings, apartments, industrial and commercial/retail properties valued in excess of $250 million. The accounting department monitors approximately $20,000,000 annually in client funds. The firm is involved in all phases and aspects of commercial and multifamily property management, leasing, finance, sales and development.
